This game is built on an real-time evolving RPG engine that was inspired the Hypercycles of Manfred Eigen (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1967). The first episode of SOB begins on a planet within a distant grouping of stars categorized as a globular cluster. This cluster, GJS8, is ruled by the Xenobe, a dominate single celled life. You must enter this planet and the Xenobe from dominating this worlds evolution. The Xenobe is now compiling their codes on the planet of Plasmobia. Here, life has just started. It is single celled and it looks vaguely like a colony of viruses and bacteria. You are can become its hershers and dominates and you must bring these new species of life to the State of Being. The story is fantasy but the technologies behind it are not. If interested contact our team at: www.bionicbros.de

The project was halted in 2003 as the team that was working on this project was forced to return to NIH/NSF-funded contracted research. The company hosting this project has also been dissolved and reorganized.
As lead on this project, I have returned to completing it and will post at this site when the piece is complete. I am currently adapting the system as a pen-and-paper role play scenario game using the internet as a tool to create a rapidly evolving world.
